Ebay is a good site however some sellers are ripping off customers by selling items at more than double the price by stating they are imported from the USA, surprising thing is that these items are legally available with bill and warranty a particular company is cart2indiaonline - I have also sent a mail to confirm what is the concept about - They claim import duty + courier extra, so the end cost is even higher.
ReplyDeleteNo site can be foolproof, yet E-bay has tried to take all the pre-cautions and provided its users enough tools to fight injustice. Besides its people's duty to get proper verification of the sellers before dealing with them. Its our responsibility as well to cross check things and then carefully take a decision. Fraud sellers should not be entertained.

hey guys i was cheated recently on ebay by a seller from delhi....... he kept a nokia 8800 sapphire arte for the auction and i won it.
ReplyDeletebefore making the payment i spoke to the seller he told its an original nokia...... but when i recieved neither it was nokia nor in the new condition....it was a copy of 8800 its a china mobile.
i have raised a claim in ebay paisa pay lets see.... if i get refund.

Negative feedbacks for that seller should be checked on the internet if any. I just hope you recover your money. Wish you good luck for the same and thanks for commenting here :).
That's true and i had done shopping on ebay India as well as ebay US. While ebay US was bit complicated cause of its payment methods and my credit card was not able to link to paypal but ebay India was smooth, they also have the option of bank transfer which makes shopping very convenient and less tedious.

ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of sellers on e-bay. You just make sure that you check the sellers reputation and positive feedbacks. Also check if the seller has a valid website and a proper address incase he has a shop. Make sure to check the phone number if its working or not.
And Purchase from sellers whose positive feedback percentage is more than 95%. Avoid sellers below that for a smooth deal. Hope it helps.
