Photography is a really exciting hobby and at the same time can be very expensive for those who really become passionate about it. There are a lot of confusions for a photography enthusiast when it comes to buying a camera since so many companies, so many formats, so many models and options are available with each manufacturer, they just confuse people. This post will help you choosing your first camera so that they can choose one as per their requirements.

Before moving to the list of cameras from different formats, contemplate on the following questions which will help you in choosing your first camera.

• What kind of photography are you going to do ?

Portrait, Nature, Wildlife, Landscape, Macros, low-light etc. You love taking pictures of birds, wildlife, or you love taking pictures of insects magnifying them to life size.

The focal length, speed of lens, glass elements, VR/IS etc decide the price of the lens which can run into lakhs depending on the type of photography you do.

• Are you just going to click your pictures and store them in Computer or going to print them in banner size ?

You don't necessarily require a DSLR camera unless you are going to make banner size prints. A small sensor than 35 mm would do for you. Bridge cameras can still produce images which can be printed in larger sizes. Since you are a beginner you should be focusing on improving your photography skills and mastering the various aspects of clicking photos and playing with light.

It is always best for a beginner to choose a camera as per his requirements in future, if you are going to become a professional photography or aim to make a career in photography an investment in DSLR is the best investment for you in the long run. But those who want to learn photography slowly as a hobby can start with a bridge camera and develop photography skills over time before moving to some other system. There are many systems like micro 4/3rds, Prosumers, Bridge cameras, DSLR available in the market today as per the requirements of users.

Once you have answered the above questions you can move ahead to the next step of selecting the best camera for yourself. Tamrac Travel Pack 73 Review

Camera bags are very pricy and can burn a big whole in your pocket, but then it is worth the money as you are going to carry gear worth thousands and sometimes may be lakhs if you are a professional photographer. I set out to purchase a backpack for my DSLR after being bored with the cheapo bag supplied by Canon. My budget was very low around 50-70$ which is 2500 INR/-.  I had almost zeroed down on the lowepro AW series which were the only options in my budget, but the problem was they could hardly carry more than 1 kit lens. I wanted a bag which could carry more than 2-3 lens along with flash and another camera accessories. I was disappointed and thought that I will need to raise my budget which means I will have to wait for another 6 months or so.

While searching I stumbled upon "Tamrac Travel pack Series" which has 2 bags, Tamrac Travel pack 71 and Tamrac Travel pack 73. Flipcart was offering it for a very low price in the market, I read some feedbacks of the buyers on flipcart and decided to buy the back pack 73 for myself.

I finally ordered the bag and got it delivered to my house on the 3rd day of placing order, thanks to the great service of flipcart guys. This is what I feel after having used the bag for some days now.

The bag is small to look than normal bags and people would often give you a astonished look while you carry this bag on your shoulder, it looks different but fits your shoulder and actually looks nice on your back. The quality is very good and seems well made inside out, very well padded and quite sturdy.

There are total 3 compartments inside the bag formed with velcro separaters due to which you can adjust the compartments to fit your lens. You can carry additional 3-4 lenses along with a camera and kit lens in the main compartment. You may carry a flash unit as well. There are 2 small compartments over main compartment where you can store all your accessories such as batteries, memory cards, lens caps, filters etc. Overall the padding is safe and strong. Tamrac claims that the bag is weather/water proof but I haven't risked taking it in pouring rains yet though the zippers have a good weather protection flap which would not allow the water to go inside easily.

Tamrac has additional accessories to sell which can be attached to this bag for carrying more gear or lens. You can attach those accessories on the side of the bag where space is provided for the same.

Over all I am very satisfied with this bag and it seems to be a bang for bucks. If you are on a budget and need a good back pack, "Tamrac travel pack series", Tamrac travel pack 71 and Tamrac travel pack 73 are very good choices to start with.

Released on 20th April, 2012 Vicky Donor is a Bollywood comedy entertainer Directed by Soojit Sircar. Vicky donor is a family entertainer despite being a film revolving around "Sperm Donation". Entertainer because it is neither a crude sex comedy or a film sending some public service message. On the top of that there is no visual or verbal vulgarity in the film. The film mainly deals with the concept of "Sperm Donation" and "Infertility".

The film "Vicky Donor" revolves around Doctor "Baldev Chadda" (Anu kapoor), a well qualified fertility expert who runs a fertility clinic and a sperm bank in Daryaganj, Delhi. His clinic guarantees high quality and specialized sperms, but unfortunately he has more failures to his credit than successes. A healthy high performing donor is the need of that hour. While searching for such a donor, Dr. Chadda bumps into "Vicky Arora" (Ayushmann khurana). who is the only son of a widow and in deep financial crises. His mother runs a beauty parlor from home in Lajpat nagar, Delhi.

Dr. Chadda has to spend days and nights on convincing Vicky to become a donor until he gives in and agrees to donate sperms for the sake of earning some money. Soon he makes a fortune out of his potent attribute. He falls in love with a pretty Bengali girl "Ashima Roy" (Yami Gautam). who works in a bank. He marries the love of his life but things began to take a drastic turn when she comes to know about his covert contributions to sperm bank.

While the film lightly touches on theme of shortage of sperm donors and the social stigma attached to it. Vicky donor manages to refrain itself from being an issue based cinema. Both the actors Ayushmann Khurana and Yami gautam have done their jobs fabulously. Ayushmann has shown his acting prowess while Yami gautam's beauty reflects in her performance.

Overall the movie superb and a must watch. Deserves 4/5 ratings. Hope you like this Vicky Donor Review.

Movie Reviews - The pursuit of Happiness Review

The pursuit of happiness (2006) is inspired by the struggles and real life story of "Chris Gardener". It is a biographical drama film based on Chris Gardener's nearly 1 year struggle with homelessness. The movie Stars "Will Smith" who shined once again with an absolutely challenging role. The best part is that he has starred alongside his 8 year old son "Jaden Smith". He turns into raw heart-breaking performance as a man who struggles to give his child the quality life that he could not have due to his lack of education, stubborn naysayers attitude and homelessness to become a rags-to-riches phenomenon.

Directed by "Gabriel Muccino", the film shows "Will Smith" as "Chris Gardener" an on and off homeless salesman turned stock broker.

The Storyline

Gardener (Smith) is a salesman with ample supply of bone density scanners collected during an ill-conceived investment plans that has yet to pay off. His girlfriend, Linda (Thandie Newton), is fed-up with having to work double shifts while he strolls around the town with these strange devices only to return by night-fall with a skinny wallet. Together, they have a son (jaden), who spends a lot of time in day care watching TV re-runs.

When financial problems start to increase, Linda decides that its time to go and leaves Gardener along with the child "Jaden". After this Smith (gardener), meets a manager for "Dean Witter" (stock brokerage firm), while trying to sell one of his bone density scanners. He impresses him by solving "Rubik's Cube" in a short cab ride. This new relationship with Dean witter manager earns him a chance to become an intern stockbroker. It is hard to believe that she leaves her child in the hands of a man who she deems to be a loser and its yet harder to believe that Chris Gardener would appear for an interview with that paint smeared face and land into a internship at a prestigious brokerage firm. The story revolves around the struggles of Gardener (smith), who finally completes the internship with flying colors and is offered a job in the prestigious stock-brokerage firm, Fighting back the tears, he rushes to his Son's (Jaden), day care and hugs him tightly. They walk down the street, joking with each other and are passed by a man dressed in a business suit (the real Chris Gardener in a cameo). The end Epilogue reveals how Chris Gardener went on to form his own multi-millionaire stock brokerage firm.

Ghost rider 2 Review - Ghost rider: spirit of vengeance

Ghost rider: spirit of vengeance is a darker story but told with a lot less intensity as compared to the first film. Spirit of vengeance cannot be compared to first movie as there is a hell lot of difference where Ghost rider 1 scores high points in my views.

The Storyline for Spirit of Vengeance

Johnny Blaze A.K.A Ghost Rider (Nicholas Cage) is a former star stuntman who made a deal with the devil to save his own father's life. As a part of the deal, Johnny was cursed with the power to eat souls of the sinners.

He takes refuge in remote corner of eastern Europe as his dark powers keep growing. He is sought out by Moreau (Idris Elba) a fighter priest, who wants Ghost rider to help him trace (Fergus Riordan). Danny is kidnapped by Ray Carrigan (Johnny whitworth) who works at the behest of the Devil. The priest promises Ghost rider that he will help him to get freedom from the soul eating curse if he rescues Danny.

The devil is the one who regularly descends on the earth in human form and makes deals with people. The Ghost rider is emerged out of the same deal and Danny was born out of a similar deal made with his mother.

The whole story revolves around saving "Danny" as the devil wants to transfer his powers and soul into "Danny's Body" as he is getting older day by day and wants to have a new body to be stronger and stay alive. There is very negligible amount of action scenes and fight scenes as compared to Ghost rider 1 due to which the movie does not appeal much in my view. The movie fares well though due to the "Title" Ghost rider: spirit of vengeance as it is the part of the former ghost rider which was a big hit among audiences.

Review - The Dirty Picture Review

The dirty picture Introduction
Loosely inspired from the "Real life story" of south siren "Silk Smitha", The dirty picture is a really hot movie which will force you to take cold showers after the show.
Directed by Milan Luthria the film is actually based on the career of "Silk Smitha", a Tamil and Telugu film dancer who rose to prominence in 1980's because of her roles in sexy numbers.
Director Milan Luthria has done a commendable effort to authenticate the period of 1980's by bringing in retro outfits, kitschy sets, vintage cameras, maruti 800's and premiere padminis. Dirty picture seems to be actually set in the times of silk smitha's era in 1980's.
Released on 2nd December 2011, the Movie has already made 30.32 crore in just 2 days.

Storyline
The film is based on the story of a village girl reshma (vidya balan), who runs away from her husbands house and lands in the world of cinema hoping to become a star. She tries to get a role in a movie but is insulted by the director for being unattractive and useless. After a lot of struggle she gets a chance to play a small role of a female dancer where she has to wear revealing outfits and dance with whips. Her bold dancing steps and seductive looks bring in a lot of male audience to theaters and reshma becomes an overnight sensation.

The small town starry eyed girl is transformed into silk smitha - a sex symbol, an item girl who is ready to take the tamil film industry by a storm. In the meanwhile Silk meets her idol suryakant (Naseeruddin shah) who ignores her at first but later falls for her and gives her the much desired break in the Tamil film industry. Within no time Silk's fame and stardom outshines suryakant's.

Jealous of her success, suryakant starts to insult her at public places and leaves her heart broken one night saying that she is a dirty secret and no one wants to talk about her in broad daylight.


There after suryakant's younger brother, writer ramakant (Tushar kapoor) falls in love with silk and plans to marry her. Even silk agrees for the proposal thinking that there is someone who loves her and not her body, but due to her over abusive nature, Ramu also ditches her.


Despite all the fame and adulation, silk is torn between love and betrayal and ends up becoming alcoholic and a chain smoker. She decides to produce her own film but loses all her money in the venture. With no offers left and her position replaced by other item girls silk's career takes a backseat when Abraham (Emraan Hashmi), a director who hates her to the core, starts liking her and tries to get things in place for her. But its too late now.

The Dirty Picture, despite the comprehensive objectivity implied through its title, is not a full-fledged biopic. Instead of painting a layered portrait of Silk, it draws an outline of an unapologetic resident of a flesh-obsessed film industry responsible for her rise and ruin. But Vidya lends her so much transparency, aplomb and sauciness, the outcome is far more awe-inspiring than it deserves to be.

Whether she's cracking crude innuendos or bursting out of her tightly-fitted clothing to expose all those meticulously added calories, the actress, literally, puts her soul and body to embody Silk. In a world, where a majority of women obsess over a flat stomach above anything else, Vidya flaunts a protruding belly as though it didn't exist. Such commitment would impress anybody -- you, me, anyone :)).

Delhi belly, released on July 1 2011 is an Indian comedy film Shot in English with a little Hindi. It is directed by Abhinay Deo, the son of veteran actors Ramesh and Seema deo. Delhi Belly - The Film review :-

Delhi Belly revolves around Three room-mates, Tashi Dorjee Lhatoo (Imran Khan), Nitin Berry (Kunaal Roy Kapur) and Arup (Vir Das) leading an unkempt and debt-ridden life. Delhi belly has been in news as it is full of adult language, catchy songs and unconventional sex shows. There are sparks of humour and vulger scences throughout the film and this is what makes it a worth watch. I bet that you will not face any boredom while watching this movie.

The film start’s with Sonia’s arrival into the city where she meets vladimir dragonsky and agrees to deliver a packet on behalf of him to the address mentioned by him. Sonia hands over the packet to Tashi who in turn asks Arup to deliver it for him. Arup then hands the packet to Nitin for delivery, But Nitin forgets to do so as he is experiencing ‘Delhi Belly’ ( stomach issues).

Thus the Package keeps floating around and is finally handed to the recipient, a gangster named Somayajulu by Arup. Apart from the package, Arup also has to deliver another package which contains Nitin’s stool sample to Nitin’s Doctor. He mixes up the two which makes Somayajulu furious and he starts the investigation by interrogating Vladimir. The film revolves around the chaos created by the interchanging of the packets.

In the meanwhile, Tashi gets attracted towards menaka, a journalist and has to incur the wrath of her ex-husband Rajiv. He starts comtemplating whether he really wants to marry sonia. Here, Vladimir informs Somayajulu that the mix-up must have been caused by Sonia as she didn’t know what she was carrying in the package. Somayajulu then calls sonia and tells her about the mix-up of the packets and also asks her to give the address of the person who was to deliver the packets. Somayajulu then goes to the address and finds Arup and makes him stand on the stool whilst his neck is tied with a tie to the ceiling. Tashi arrives at the apartment in the meanwhile to find Arup being tied to the ceiling. On interrogating Tashi, Somayajulu discovers the location of his package.

Nitin gets the packets from the doctor’s clinic and somayajulu snatches it from him to examine the 30 diamonds which are ought to be there in the packet. After finding them safe, he orders his men to kill all the three friends, Tashi, Arup and Nitin. In the meanwhile, the ceiling to which Arup is tied falls down and injures Somayajulu and his men. Tashi, Arup and nitin escape them along with the daimonds and celebrate there good fortune. They sell the daimonds to a local jewellery shop owner the very next day. But to their dismay and bad luck, Somayajulu kidnaps Sonia and threatens to kill her if they do not hand over the daimonds to him. The trio, feeling disgusted, goes to get the daimonds from the jewellery shop owner, only to be told that they will have to pay him double.

The trio starts worrying when tashi comes up with a plan. Nitin, Arup, Tashi and Menaka disguise themselves in burqa and go to the jewellery shop. They con the owner, take back their daimonds and return his money. Then they go to the hotel where somayajulu has held Sonia. In the meanwhile police also reach there following tashi’s car as they chase him for robbing the jewellery store. The trio hands over the daimonds to Somayajulu and tell him to leave sonia. Police enters the room by then and firing takes place in which only Tashi, Nitin, Arup and sonia survive. Tashi then chooses Menaka over Sonia but Menaka refuses to go with him. Later, When Menaka comes over to Tashi’s place to hand over his belongings, Tashi jumps over her car in through the open Window and Kisses her hard.
